PERCHÉ GLI STATI UNITI RAPPRESENTANO UN MERCATO STRATEGICO

Gli Stati Uniti rappresentano oggi il principale mercato extra-UE per l’export italiano e uno dei partner commerciali più rilevanti per il sistema produttivo nazionale. Nel 2025 le esportazioni italiane verso gli USA hanno raggiunto un valore record di 69,6 miliardi di euro, registrando una crescita del +7,2% rispetto all’anno precedente.

Nonostante questi risultati, il potenziale di crescita per le PMI italiane rimane ancora ampiamente inesplorato. La quota italiana sulle importazioni complessive statunitensi si attesta infatti intorno al 2,34%, evidenziando importanti margini di sviluppo.

WHY THE UNITED STATES IS A STRATEGIC MARKET

Today, the United States is Italy’s largest non-EU export market and one of the most important commercial partners for the country’s manufacturing sector. In 2025, Italian exports to the U.S. reached a record value of €69.6 billion, representing growth of +7.2% compared to the previous year.

Despite these strong results, the growth potential for Italian SMEs remains largely untapped. Italy currently accounts for approximately 2.34% of total U.S. imports, highlighting significant opportunities for further expansion across multiple industries.

The size, purchasing power, and sector diversity of the American market continue to make the United States one of the most attractive destinations for Italian companies seeking long-term international growth.
